Field Geotechnical Engineer

Field Geotechnical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a developing engineering professional with a civil or geotechnical engineering degree to contribute to our projects. This role involves a combination of office work and field visits, applying geotechnical knowledge to assist in research, data collection, and analysis. You will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and grow your skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist in research, data collection, field observation, inspection, and field and laboratory testing. Prepare associated reports or sections of larger reports. Evaluate routine laboratory and field data in collaboration with other technical staff and supervisors. Perform basic calculations and engineering analysis. Draft routine proposals and assist in the preparation of more complex proposals. Perform plan drafting using CAD software. Work with engineering technician crews in testing, observations, and data gathering activities on project sites. Prepare daily reports documenting activities and findings. Essential Skills Civil or Geotechnical engineering degree. Geotechnical engineering knowledge. Proficiency in geotechnical analysis. Experience with AutoCAD and engineering software. Basic project management skills. Ability to work effectively in an office setting. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Blue Bell, PA.
