Senior Civil Engineer

Nave Newell is a civil engineering consulting firm located in Chester County, PA that specializes in land development . Founded more than three decades ago, we have a talented team of civil engineers, surveyors, planners, and landscape architects. These projects range from industrial warehouses to senior living communities to retail shopping centers to college/university campuses. We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager- Project Engineer with experience in the design of residential and commercial subdivisions and land developments.

Essential Responsibilities:

Site layout and land development Commercial and residential planning Grading and utilities design Erosion and sedimentation control design Environmental permitting, including NPDES Sanitary and stormwater piping design Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment Stormwater management design Floodplain modeling and hydraulic

Analysis Qualifications:

5-10 years of relevant engineering design experience. B.S. in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering license required. Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D. Working knowledge of Civil 3D Styles, surfaces a plus but not required. Proficient with site layout, grading and profiling a plus but not required. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite. Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Experience with HEC-RAS a plus but not required. Must have good written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good presentation skills - must be comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders. Experience leading and mentoring a team.
