CNS specializes in the planning, analysis, and design of transportation structures including: •Highway, railroad, and pedestrian bridges Special nonstandard retaining walls and specialty sign structures Prefabricated steel-plate tunnels Bridge program management Our portfolio includes complex transportation structures, including bridges exceeding 2,000 feet in length. Job Responsibilities Perform and/or lead structural design and technical analysis of bridges and transportation structures Prepare construction contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E) Ensure compliance with Caltrans and AASHTO Standards Collaborate within multidiscipline teams and communicate effectively Qualifications Master's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering Minimum two years of bridge design experience and preparation of construction contract plans Strong knowledge of Advanced Structural Analysis, Structure Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Advanced Reinforced Concrete, and Pre-Stressed Concrete Design, and Structural Steel. Experience with Caltrans Bridge Design Standards and/or
