Job Description

Bridge Engineer 📍
Locations :
Norwood, Worcester, Boston, MA Hartford, CT Manchester, NH Lincoln, RI My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Bridge Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects across New England, including bridges and public works-related structures such as wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and more. Key Responsibilities Lead and assist in the preparation of bridge and building design documents (calculations, plans, specifications, quantities). Develop designs for multiple state DOTs and municipalities. Prepare formal engineering reports. Participate in structural inspections as needed. Mentor and supervise junior staff. Collaborate across disciplines and office locations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain licensure in multiple New England states. 7-12 years of bridge engineering experience. Experience with NH or MassDOT design standards. Strong skills in structural analysis, AutoCAD, and technical writing. Ability to perform field work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
Microstation proficiency. Finite element analysis experience. Building design experience. Experience with MaineDOT, VTrans, RIDOT, or CTDOT. Benefits Hybrid work schedule (up to 2 remote days/week). Career development and advancement opportunities.
