Job Description

Civil Project Engineer Boulder, CO (Remote) A design-focused civil engineering group is hiring a Civil Project Engineer to support a growing portfolio of land development projects across Colorado. This is a fully remote role with flexibility, but candidates should have prior experience working in the Colorado market. This role is best suited for someone ready to take on more ownership of projects while staying hands-on with design and client coordination. What you'll be doing Support and lead design on land development projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use) Prepare and review grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater plans Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies Support project management tasks including schedules, budgets, and deliverables Navigate Colorado permitting processes and jurisdictional requirements Mentor junior staff as needed What they're looking for 4 to 8 years of civil engineering experience in land development Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills Experience working on projects in Colorado Solid understanding of local drainage criteria and permitting workflows EIT required, PE either obtained or in progress Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Why this role Fully remote setup with a high level of trust and autonomy Opportunity to take ownership of projects and grow into a PM-level role Exposure to a steady pipeline of Colorado-based work Collaborative, design-focused team without layers of bureaucracy If you're at a point where you want more responsibility and direct impact on projects without unnecessary process, this is worth a look.
