GK & Associates Diamond Bar, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $55 - $100 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Civil engineering CDL Engineer in Training Bachelor's degree Organizational skills Civil Engineering Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Plan Checker / Civil Engineer to support municipal land development and public works projects throughout Southern California. This role includes plan review, permit processing, project coordination, and development engineering support for public agency clients. Responsibilities Perform engineering services including plan checks and technical reviews for land development and public works projects Review grading, drainage, street, utility, and infrastructure improvement plans for code and municipal standard compliance Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors, and agency staff Manage projects through the review and approval process Prepare review comments, technical correspondence, and project documentation Support permitting and development review activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of relevant municipal engineering or land development experience EIT certification required; California PE license preferred Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, streets, utilities, and public works standards Experience working with Southern California public agencies preferred Strong communication, organization, and project management skills Position Details Full-time or part-time opportunities available Competitive compensation based on experience Hybrid/remote flexibility may be available Please submit your resume and relevant project experience for consideration
