TITLE:
Civil Engineering Analyst DUTIES:
Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients. Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horns and our clients practices, procedures, and standards. Requires 10% domestic travel. Remote work permitted one day per week within a reasonable commuting distance of the Fort Worth, TX office.

$87,904.18 per year

REQUIREMENTS:
Main Education and Experience:
ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or closely related field of study and no experience required.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Also requires internship, coursework, and/or professional experience in the following skills: "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months); and University coursework utilizing technical software such as Autodesk CAD and Solidworks to produce chemical engineering designs. Exposure to coursework focused on chemical engineering, including a general introduction to water/wastewater engineering. Successful completion of a senior capstone project supporting water softening treatment. Poster presentation with the university chemical engineering department and national AICHE Experience as an Undergraduate research assistant supporting membrane separation in Chemical and Materials Engineering. Membership and involvement with American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) Served as a student leader or teaching assistant supporting the development of others studying Chemical Engineering Experience shadowing professionals and operators with a local power facility that includes administering tests on insulating oils, gas analyzers, circuit breakers, etc. Experience with Python Experience with Auto Computer Aided Design (CAD) Experience with Aspen Hyprotech Systems (HYSYS)
