Your impact Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of water, and wastewater design projects. Apply tools and processes (both internal proprietary and commercially available), quality standards, company policies, communications standards, client preferences, etc. Perform a wide variety of assignments which are clearly defined and require the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, specifically: Independently prepare engineering specifications, data management spreadsheets and databases, maps, drawings, and perform calculations in support of engineering activities. Independently prepare engineering reports and process control narratives; engineering condition assessments and evaluations; planning documents, reports, studies, models, calculations, etc. Conduct site visits and field observations, gather data for engineering condition assessments and evaluations. Independently evaluate and improve the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project goals. Leading project presentations for internal and external meetings. Hybrid schedule is allowed.
TRAVEL:
Travel requirements vary as per the project anywhere between 5-10%. The purpose of travel is primarily related to site visits for obtaining site information and verification of engineering design activities, and client coordination and meetings. #LI-DNI Here's what you'll need
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or related Wastewater process engineering occupation. In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and 4 years of work experience in the job offered or related Wastewater process engineering occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Expertise/ knowledge of: Construction plans/ drawings, design specifications and standards for municipal wastewater treatment plants. Wastewater treatment plant design and operation. Wastewater process modeling software - SUMO, Pro2D. Hydraulic process modeling software - AFT Fathom. Analyzing and presenting technical information and data to managers and clients. Expert-level skills with Office Suite of tools/ programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). #

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
