Job Description
A specialized civil engineering firm is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) in The Woodlands, TX! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Texas-licensed PE to serve as PE of Record on complex HDD, trenchless utility crossing, USACE-regulated levee, canal, TxDOT, waterway, and railroad corridor projects while mentoring junior engineers and taking ownership of high-profile infrastructure deliverables. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) position include: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas required at time of hire. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering required. Minimum 5+ years of civil or utility infrastructure engineering experience with hands-on HDD/trenchless crossing design experience. Serve as PE of Record, leading, stamping, and sealing engineering plans and documents. Design HDD crossings under regulated infrastructure including USACE-regulated levees, canals, TxDOT roadways, waterways, and railroad corridors. Experience with USACE Section 408 permitting, hydraulic fracture factor-of-safety analysis, bore path design, and utility crossing design. Prepare and review permits, technical reports, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and regulatory submittals. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary :
$130,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Benefits :
