About the role:

As a Civil / Structural Engineer 2 you will you will support of design activities in the area of structural steel and reinforced concrete design. You will report to the Structural Steel Senior Manager, Building Engineering & Physical Design and be located at global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position is hybrid, you will be on site 2 days per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Responsibilities:

Support design activities which include analysis and drawing markups in the area of structural steel or concrete design. Address technical issues related to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of a civil/structural project. This includes technical justification of design changes and requires troubleshooting of emergent technical issues. On-Site support at multiple utilities and smaller projects. Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GT Strudl Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and (such as

ACI, AISC, AWS

) standards and company procedures. Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering Minimum 3 years of applicable experience
