Project Coordinator Location:
Charlotte, NC (On‑site during onboarding; hybrid flexibility after demonstrated performance) The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of commercial construction projects by managing documentation, submittals, financial workflows, and cross‑team communication. This role blends technical coordination with hands‑on financial process management in Procore. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination Review drawings and specifications Build and maintain contract item lists Manage submittals, RFIs, and change order logs Issue subcontractor contracts Support scheduling and field/office coordination Maintain accurate project records in Procore Project Financial Management Enter and maintain financial data in Procore Manage pay applications Process change orders Prepare monthly financial reports Collaboration Partner with PMs, Superintendents, Estimators, and Accounting Communicate with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors Support cross‑functional alignment throughout the project lifecycle Requirements 5+ years commercial construction experience Experience supporting large‑scale commercial projects Proficiency with Procore (document + financial modules) Experience with submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay apps Strong organization and attention to detail Proficiency with
Outlook, Excel, SharePoint Preferred:
Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience with Sage, MS Project, or similar tools Bilingual (Spanish) Training & Growth On‑site onboarding with full systems immersion Exposure to technical and financial project workflows Hybrid flexibility after onboarding Clear path to advanced coordination or project management roles Physical Requirements Office‑based role; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
