Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Land Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that shape growing communities. This role is ideal for someone looking for structured career development, mentorship, and a clear path toward licensure and long-term advancement , including future leadership opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of land development projects from concept through construction Support preparation of site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans Perform engineering calculations and assist with technical analysis Collaborate with internal, multi-disciplinary teams Assist with reports, specifications, and permit submittals Support project managers with budgeting and scheduling tasks Participate in client meetings and coordination with agencies Ensure accuracy and quality in design and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6-12 months 0-4 years of experience in civil engineering or land development Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design tools Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Effective communication and teamwork skills Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based increases and bonuses 401(k) with company match Clear path to PE licensure with mentorship and exam support Flexible/hybrid work environment Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO) Tuition reimbursement and support for continuing education Hands-on experience and exposure to diverse projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use) in a collaborative team For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Sana directly at (331)321-1989.
