We are seeking an Entry-Level Civil to join our team in Cobb County, GA. This is a full-time, in-office position (five days per week) with no hybrid or remote work option. In this role, you will contribute to municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, supporting both design and field engineering activities while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. What You'll Do As part of our team, you will: Work under the supervision and mentorship of experienced engineers Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, CAD designers, project managers, and leadership Assist in the evaluation, design, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects Prepare engineering deliverables such as: o Plans and specifications o Engineering reports o Cost estimates and quantity take-offs o Construction documents, sketches, models, and drawings Perform civil design tasks related to: o Site development and layout o Stormwater and drainage systems o Grading and erosion/sediment control o Utilities and conveyance piping o Facility/site layouts Assist with design using CADD tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation Support development of engineering calculations and technical details Observe and document field and construction activities related to water, sewer pipelines, and stormwater conveyance projects (as needed) What You'll Bring Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in teams Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Eagerness to learn and grow both professionally and technically Here's what you'll need Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field (ABET-accredited) OR Associate degree in drafting/design (CADD) or related program with relevant experience 0-5 years of experience in: o Civil engineering design and/or CADD drafting o 2D/3D CADD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.) Familiarity with: o Water, wastewater, and stormwater systems and design drawings o Industry CAD standards o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering 1-5 years of experience on water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure projects Familiarity with GIS tools, including ArcGIS Pro, is a plus Understanding of design and construction processes for municipal infrastructure Why Jacobs Work on meaningful projects that positively impact communities Access to strong mentorship and professional development opportunities Exposure to diverse projects and career growth paths A collaborative, fully in-office environment that fosters teamwork, learning, and innovation Pave the way for your career with Jacobs—where you can evolve, grow, and succeed today and into tomorrow.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
