Geo-Structural Design Engineer•REMOTE 📍 Miami, Florida•Best performing Branch Nationally. About the Company Our client is a leading geotechnical design-build contractor with a strong presence across the United States and internationally. Known for delivering innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions, they work closely with construction and project teams to tackle complex geotechnical challenges. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where design meets construction, and engineers are actively involved in shaping real-world solutions. The Role As a Geo-Structural Design Engineer , you will play a key role in developing best-value solutions for complex geotechnical projects, combining strong technical design with practical construction insight. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and construction teams on a wide range of projects, continuously developing your technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Deliver design solutions for complex geotechnical projects Prepare detailed design drawings for construction Provide technical support to the estimating team Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure efficient, buildable solutions Contribute to innovative approaches across multiple ground engineering techniques Projects typically include: Deep foundation systems Earth retention systems Ground improvement works Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required) Master's degree preferred Experience 7-10+ years of geotechnical and/or geo-structural design experience Strong experience with excavation support systems is highly preferred Structural engineering exposure is beneficial but not essential Certifications Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain within 12 months Technical Skills Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles Proficiency in Excel Working knowledge of AutoCAD Experience with industry software such as: Settle3D L-PILE GeoStudio PLAXIS DeepEx Job Alerts Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Heavy Civil Project Engineer•Boise, ID
