Job Description

Professional Engineer - Wireless Telecom Eukon Group is a growing, small to mid-size company that specializes in Wireless Cell Sites. We design and incorporate Cell sites into every type of property in all parts of California and Hawaii. We have an immediate opening in our Irvine office for an experienced CA Licensed professional engineer with 5+ years of wireless telecommunication experience.
REQUIREMENTS
    Mandatory:
    Civil or Structural Engineering license in the State of California
    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required
    • Ability to complete structural calculations using Excel/Enercalc/Risa/TowerNX/O'Calc.
    • Ability to draft using Auto
    CAD 2015
    (or newer) 2D experience preferred.
    • 3-5 years of experience in telecommunication structural design
    • 3-5 years of experience in all phases of structural engineering including design, analysis, construction documents, project management, and construction administration.
    • 3-5 years of experience in the wireless telecommunication industry required
    • OSHPD and DSA experience is a plus
    • Clear understanding of the current CA building code and
    ANSI/TIA
    standards is required.
    • Skilled in multiple areas, including structural engineering techniques, engineering software, code interpretation, leadership, and customer relations.
    • Flexible, with the ability to work on all aspects of a given project along with any other tasks beneficial to the company and its growth.

    • Experience with all materials (wood, concrete, masonry, steel)
    • Good written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Producing structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details accurately and timely for jurisdiction submittals.
    • As the EOR stamp and sign all structural drawings and calculations.
    • Utilize AutoCAD to produce structural plans and details (platforms, screen walls, CMU walls, antenna anchorage, equipment anchorage, etc.)
    • Provide structural design and technical guidance and solutions to our CAD staff.
    • Work with drafters to develop drawings for jurisdiction submittal, including details.
    • Review as-built drawings to determine needed information.
    • Perform site visits to document field conditions and structural observations. Travel may be required on an occasional basis.
    • Coordinate with the building department to complete the permit process including corrections.
    • Coordinate with and review 3rd party engineering documents
