Job Description

Estimating will be the primary focus of this role , with responsibilities centered around preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing, proposals, and bid packages for commercial, industrial, agricultural, and institutional metal building projects. This is not an outside sales role. The ideal candidate will spend the majority of their time developing estimates, creating proposals, and working directly with customers to secure projects. Strong proficiency with Metal Building Software (MBS) is required. This is a fully remote position, with preference given to candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones. Primary Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for pre-engineered metal building projects Utilize MBS (Metal Building Software) to design, price, and configure building systems Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and customer requirements Develop competitive proposals and bid packages Analyze project scope, identify risks, and provide value-engineering recommendations Coordinate with engineering, detailing, manufacturing, and project management teams during the preconstruction process Follow up on estimates and assist in converting opportunities into awarded projects Support project handoff after award to ensure a smooth transition to operations Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience within the PEMB industry Advanced proficiency with MBS (Metal Building Software) is required Strong understanding of pre-engineered metal building systems, components, and pricing Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication and customer-facing skills Highly organized and capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with PEMB manufacturers, builders, dealers, or metal building contractors Background in commercial, industrial, agricultural, aviation, or warehouse projects Additional experience in sales, project management, or business development is a plus, but estimating expertise is the priority Location Fully remote Candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time Zones preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Fully remote work environment Long-term career growth opportunity with a stable and growing organization Please reach out to me ASAP at mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for further information!
