Senior Bridge Design Engineer -
Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Oversee preparation of contract plans and technical documents.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring quality control and technical accuracy.
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and subconsultants to drive projects to completion.
Conduct field inspections and collect data for structural assessments.
Participate in client and public meetings.
Support business development and proposal efforts as needed.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.13+ years of experience in bridge/structural engineering.
Strong background in structural analysis and design.
Experience with MassDOT projects.
Proven project management skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Ability to perform field work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, SAP2000, AASHTOWare BrR, and Excel.

Senior (13+ years)A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead bridge and structural design projects for state agencies and municipalities across the Northeast. This is a leadership role within the structural engineering group, offering opportunities to manage complex projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines.Key Responsibilities:
Lead bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects from scope development through construction phase services.Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Oversee preparation of contract plans and technical documents.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring quality control and technical accuracy.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license.13+ years of experience in bridge/structural engineering.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Ability to perform field work in various weather conditions.

Preferred:
Experience with RIDOT, NHDOT, CTDOT, or MaineDOT projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, SAP2000, AASHTOWare BrR, and Excel.
