About the Firm My client is a well-established structural engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Minnesota. The firm has built a long-standing reputation for delivering practical, cost-effective, and technically strong structural solutions across a wide range of building sectors. They are particularly well-known for their collaborative, relationship-driven approach , working closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver successful projects. Their portfolio spans multifamily housing, hospitality, mixed-use developments, commercial buildings, and institutional work , with a large portion of repeat clients. Key Responsibilities Lead structural design and analysis for hospitality and multifamily housing projects from concept through construction Deliver calculations, drawings, and specifications across a range of building materials (steel, concrete, wood) Coordinate with architects, developers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent and constructability Review models and drawings for technical accuracy and quality Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Act as a key client-facing contact throughout the life of a project Mentor and support junior engineers and designers Contribute to internal standards, QA/QC, and process improvements Required Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 6+ years of structural engineering experience , ideally focused on building structures PE license (or actively working toward licensure) Strong experience in structural design and construction documentation Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (RISA, RAM, etc.) Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC) Experience working in a consulting / multidisciplinary environment Strong communication and coordination skills Benefits Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus Employee ownership / ESOP participation Flexible working environment, including hybrid options Compressed work schedule options (e.g. shorter Fridays or alternating Fridays off) Comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO) Regular team events, outings, and a company-sponsored retreat Strong focus on work-life balance and long-term career growth Why Join Us?
