Job Description

We're a family-owned company with over 20 years of combined experience in the custom homebuilding industry, and we're looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. While this role is primarily remote, we value personal connection and ask that you join us in person at least twice a month. Overview As our Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and analyzing truss roof systems and ensuring the integrity of our custom-built homes. You'll work closely with our in-house engineer and designer to coordinate projects, collaborate with architects and contractors, and deliver work that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. Key Duties Design and analyze truss roof systems and other structural components using CAD software. Conduct site assessments to determine project feasibility. Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and documentation. Use Bluebeam for project collaboration and document management. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Provide technical guidance during construction phases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (PE license preferred). Bilingual in English & Spanish. Proficiency in CAD software; Civil 3D experience is a plus. Strong project management and leadership skills. Familiarity with GIS for data analysis. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of structural design principles and materials.
