job summary: Our client, a premier leader in steel building solutions, is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in Kansas City, MO. This dynamic, direct-hire role is perfect for a collaborative professional with 3-5 years of experience ready to tackle large-scale projects. If you design in Revit, understand pre-engineered metal buildings, this is a great fit for you. Can be remote if willing to come into the KC office once a monthRelocation assistance offeredAnnual PSP bonus location: Kansas City, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $115,000 - 132,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Provides project management services that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of the project and serves as the single point of contact for the project. Provides timely and concise verbal and written communications and promptly responds to customer requests. Employ sound risk management principles that meet or exceed project and regional /business profitability goals Establish and ensure milestone dates and deliverables are met. Supports and engages in a collaborative work environment between internal company functions and builds trust among peers and customers. Use engineering background to provide sound design guidance to the design team that results in a practical and economical building solution for customers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis3-5 years of experience designing and/or managing structural steel building projects in several of the following areas:

Truss framed buildings and long span structuresHeavy industrial crane buildings including crane runway details for heavy cranes and long span crane runwaysHighly architectural commercial buildings
IBC, AISC, AISE 13, MBMA
codes and guidelinesSome or all of the following programs:
STAAD, RISA, RAM, SAP
2000, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, company proprietary softwareConnection design qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
