Atlanta, GA | Nashville, TN A leading structural engineering consultancy is seeking a driven Structural Project Engineer to support its continued growth in Atlanta and Nashville. Key Project Sectors Mission-critical facilities and data centres Aviation infrastructure Advanced manufacturing Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects Coordinate closely with senior engineers and support design team delivery Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation Assist with selection of structural systems, materials, and specifications Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive design solutions Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and site visits Produce technical reports and assist with condition assessments and peer reviews Manage project tasks, schedules, and support team coordination efforts Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural focus required) Master's degree in structural engineering discipline preferred/required Minimum of 4 years' structural engineering experience in building design Active Professional Engineer (PE) licence Experience with tools such as RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, and Revit Familiarity with BIM platforms (e.g., BIM 360) Strong understanding of building codes and materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Commitment to quality, continuous development, and mentoring What's on Offer This role offers the chance to work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, with exposure to challenging projects and strong opportunities for career progression.
