What You'll Do Support the planning, design, and implementation of water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment system projects. Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Assist with permitting, regulatory coordination, and construction documentation. Conduct site visits and evaluations to support data collection, design, and construction oversight. Collaborate with internal departments such as Civil/Site, Structural, GIS, Survey, and Traffic to deliver fully integrated solutions. Communicate project status, findings, and solutions clearly to project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies. Participate in client meetings and presentations, with opportunities to expand client-facing experience.
Qualifications:
What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; PE license a plus or in progress. 2-5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering or municipal infrastructure projects. Familiarity with hydraulic modeling, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and relevant design software. Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems, permitting requirements, and design standards.
