Job Description

Project Engineer:
Project Engineer's play a vital role in project planning and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. This position offers a dynamic blend of office and field tasks, providing valuable hands-on experience on projects ranging from residential piers and floating docks, to large scale heavy marine construction for Federal and State agencies throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Craft personnel to support planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management. Technical review of Plans and Specifications to ensure compliance with all contract requirements. Site inspections for quality, safety, and daily work progress and cost coding. Preparation of submittals, RFI's, payment requests, and Change Orders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. Previous experience or internship in heavy civil or marine construction is preferred, but not required.
