Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet all technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including water treatment systems, wastewater management, land surveying, and construction management. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that support community development and environmental sustainability. A strong background in project management, technical drafting, and system design is essential for success in this position. Duties Develop detailed project plans utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software to produce schematics and construction drawings. Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of phases while coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, construction inspection, and quality assurance to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Conduct geotechnical engineering assessments and utilize GIS tools such as ArcGIS and HEC software for data analysis and mapping purposes. Prepare accurate construction estimating and system design documents using Mathcad and SWMM for hydraulic modeling. Perform land surveying tasks and assist in pipeline layout planning for infrastructure projects. Draft technical reports and documentation through technical writing to communicate project progress and findings effectively. Support project engineering efforts by coordinating schematics, system design, and construction inspection activities related to water treatment, wastewater treatment, hydraulics, and mechanical engineering systems. Collaborate on geotechnical investigations and provide input on civil engineering solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Arc
GIS, HEC
software, SWMM, and other relevant CAD tools. Strong understanding of construction management practices including project scheduling and construction inspection. Experience with GIS applications such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping. Knowledge of water treatment systems, wastewater management, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering principles, and land surveying techniques. Ability to perform construction estimating and system design with precision. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively. Skilled in technical writing for reports and documentation purposes. Familiarity with schematics creation, draftings such as system schematics or piping diagrams. Strong mathematical skills utilizing Mathcad or similar tools for calculations related to hydraulics or structural analysis. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines including mechanical engineering and civil engineering teams.
