Civil Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team, specializing in land development projects. This role involves preparing comprehensive design plans, coordinating with various stakeholders, and contributing to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Prepare civil engineering design plans for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design. Develop construction documents, exhibits, and technical details using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Assist with stormwater management design and associated calculations. Support project managers with design coordination, schedules, and deliverables. Coordinate with internal team members, municipalities, and external consultants. Review agency comments and assist with plan revisions and resubmittals. Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimates as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience in grading, stormwater, utilities, and site layout. Approximately 3 years of experience in land development or site civil design. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Preferred Skills & Qualifications EIT certification preferred (or ability to obtain). Strong organization, time management, and communication skills. Familiarity with Middle Tennessee codes and permitting processes is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
