As we expand our footprint in Middle TN, we're seeking a Project Engineer based south of Nashville to help drive successful project execution and be a key member of our team in delivering exceptional results. The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial tenant improvement projects. This role is essential to ensuring projects run smoothly, documentation is accurate, and communication among stakeholders remains clear and effective. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to grow within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Project Support & Coordination Assist with documentation, quantity take-offs, and materials pricing. Maintain organized project files, logs, and correspondence. Prepare and distribute project documents including budgets, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and change orders. Bid Management Contact subcontractors to confirm bid participation and address questions. Coordinate and lead job walks, ensuring accurate project understanding for bidders. Procurement & Site Support Order temporary jobsite facilities such as storage containers, dumpsters, restrooms, and equipment rentals. Assist with procurement for self-perform work, including concrete, steel, framing, drywall, division 10, etc Support project setup, mobilization, and close-out processes. Qualifications Experience in a commercial construction environment. Strong understanding of the tenant improvement (TI) construction process and general project management workflows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive with limited supervision , taking full ownership of tasks and accountability for outcomes. Resourceful, proactive, and positive—especially under challenging or changing project conditions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project); Bluebeam, Sage 100, experience with construction management software is a plus.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits:
