Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead and oversee complex civil engineering projects from estimation to start-up to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure that all aspects of construction and design meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will drive project success, foster innovative solutions, and deliver sustainable infrastructure that benefits communities and stakeholders alike. Duties Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including water treatment systems, wastewater management, pipelines, bridge/roadways, and land development schemes. Utilize construction estimating tools and HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost projections and control project budgets. Develop detailed project schedules using advanced project management tools to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing construction estimating techniques to optimize budgets and resource allocation. Oversee construction management activities, including site supervision, construction inspection, and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize CAD software Manage project documentation through technical writing and drafting to communicate specifications clearly to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards by reviewing system designs related to hydraulics, hydraulics modeling (HEC), water/wastewater treatment processes, and system schematics. Monitor progress through regular site visits, construction inspection reports, and quality assurance checks. Skills Proficiency in project scheduling tools and techniques for effective timeline management. Strong experience with construction management practices across diverse civil engineering disciplines. Expertise in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit for drafting and system design. Knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial data analysis; HEC software for hydraulic modeling; SWMM for stormwater management. Skilled in construction estimating methods to develop accurate project budgets. Ability to perform geotechnical assessments and land surveying with precision. Familiarity with water treatment and wastewater treatment processes; system design principles; hydraulics; mechanical engineering concepts relevant to civil projects. Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, schematics, specifications, and project documentation. Strong project management capabilities including scheduling, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
