Job Description

Civil Engineer, P.E. opportunity in Maryville, TN with a flexible hybrid schedule! This is a rare chance to join a growing commercial development firm just outside Knoxville and take ownership of building its in-house civil engineering capabilities as demand continues to rise. The company offers a collaborative environment, direct involvement in land development projects, and the opportunity to make a major impact across multifamily, retail, townhome, industrial, and cabin development work. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer, P.E.
position include:
5-10 years of civil engineering design experience in a consulting or professional services environment Active Professional Engineer license preferred, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution Lead and assist in civil engineering design for land development, site design, stormwater management, utilities, and related commercial development projects Prepare engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, advanced engineering calculations, and cost estimates Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required, with hydrology/hydraulic modeling software and GIS tools considered a plus Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permitting requirements Participate in project planning, scheduling, quality control, and site visits throughout East Tennessee as needed Strong communication skills, leadership potential, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Salary :
$105,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
