In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building systems, ensuring optimal performance across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable environment for all occupants while supporting the overall operational excellence of our facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, and other building infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify electrical faults and ensure system integrity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all safety protocols during maintenance procedures. Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations while overseeing quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility-related requests or issues from staff or tenants. Company truck, fuel card and Iphone provided. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building engineering within industrial and commercial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Electrical experience including troubleshooting general building operations. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
