What You'll Do:
Assist Civil Group Leader with Design and Project Management Perform technical planning and design work associated with land or site development and/or municipal projects, including (as appropriate based on experience and licensure) Develop site layouts and perform detailed design and grading to ensure efficient, compliant, and build-ready project sites Perform comprehensive stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and landscape assessments to support resilient and compliant project development Prepare detailed entrance layout and access design plans that ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site entry and circulation Prepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal review Complete various land development and environmental permitting applications. Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors Maintain and grow client relationships - become their trusted partner Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review Prepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applications
What You'll Bring:
BS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution Seven or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering Professional Engineer license in Tennessee preferred Project Management experience preferred Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGIS Demonstrated ability & experience to lead a team of engineers and designers
Salary Range:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description
