NSE2601 Structural Engineer Nashville, TN Hurst-Rosche has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer based out of our Nashville, TN office. We are an integrated design firm that unites a diverse team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and industry specialists driven to help solve our clients' greatest challenges.
The position duties will include:
Production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents under the supervision of other engineers and supervisors. Field inspections of structural components on existing buildings and bridges. Work on engineering team to develop structural design for bridges/buildings in various materials such as steel, concrete, wood, cold-formed steel, and masonry. Structural design would involve individual components to complete project documents. Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations. Ability to work both independently and as a team.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. Additional proficiency in MicroStation is a plus. General knowledge of engineering principles and materials in structural engineering. Read and understand construction documents. Critical thinking skills are necessary with the ability to plan and conceptualize. Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word). Ability to perform engineering calculations in RISA suite of programs.
Salary Range:
$70,000-$105,000 Qualified candidates must have as a minimum, a BS from an ABET accredited program, with a focus in structural engineering. Professional Licensure is preferred but not required.
