Mission Critical Project Engineer

Rinvio is hiring a Mission Critical Project Engineer to support MEP coordination, documentation, procurement tracking, and field progress on data center and critical infrastructure construction work in Abilene, Texas.

Pay:

$180,000-$220,000/year, based on experience

Contract Responsibilities:

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-built documentation, and project records Coordinate with trades on MEP installation, field sequencing, and construction documentation Track procurement, material delivery, and critical system readiness Support schedule updates, field progress tracking, issue logs, and project reporting Interface between field teams, design teams, project leadership, vendors, and stakeholders Support commissioning, energization, turnover, and quality documentation requirements

Requirements:

Project engineering, construction coordination, MEP coordination, or commercial construction experience Mission-critical, data center, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, or critical infrastructure experience preferred Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-builts, procurement tracking, and project documentation Ability to communicate clearly with field, design, vendor, and project leadership teams Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail Ability to work in Abilene-area project environments and complete any onboarding requirements Why this role: $180,000-$220,000/year estimated compensation range based on experience Mission-critical project engineering opportunity Exposure to MEP-heavy data center / critical infrastructure construction Professional recruiting support from Rinvio Learn more about
