Job Description

Overview Kimley-Horn's Austin North, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Utility Coordinator with a minimum of 1 year of professional work experience. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Candidates must have a willingness to perform a variety of tasks supporting various project managers as required. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Partnering with TxDOT, Municipal, and Private clients on utility coordination Working on large scale projects that require internal and external client facing communication Leading meetings with clients and project stakeholders Producing engineering plans and exhibits directing utility owners to relocate on projects Develop project schedules based on construction phasing and funding timelines. As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions Qualifications 1+ years experience within Civil Engineering or Construction Management Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or similar. "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification preferred Working knowledge of MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as a team Why Kimley-Horn?
