Our offices are in Texas and Louisiana with a staff of over 300 engineers, scientists, technicians, geologists, hydrogeologists, and associated laboratory and support personnel. We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for our Southeast Beaumont TX and Geismar Louisiana Area offices. The successful candidate will provide engineering and consulting services for a wide variety of projects and clients primarily in the Energy Market Sector. We will provide support necessary for career advancement with the objective of developing the candidate into a departmental management role. Our Southeast Texas and Louisiana operations are well established in the local market and our offices have an experienced engineering support staff in place. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills, a strong desire for career advancement, and sound leadership qualities.

Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or a related field of study, foreign equivalent accepted. M.S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. 6-8 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record in both field and office-based work. Demonstrate verbal communication, writing, and technical presentation skills Demonstrate organizational skills for keeping multiple tasks on track from concept through delivery. Computer proficient (including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Pro). Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, slope stability and seepage analyses, and foundation design software is preferred. Strong technical report writing. Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain one in 12 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare technical proposals. Execute geotechnical engineering project assignments. Work with and provide mentorship of engineering support staff. Manage and coordinate geotechnical field and laboratory assignments. Perform engineering analyses and report preparation. Maintain client expectations for project quality and schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering PE License or Active EIT Certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
