The role is a central point of coordination among the owner, the design team, the subcontractor base, and the internal project team, keeping work moving safely, accurately, and on schedule. Education & Experience A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field — or, in lieu of a degree, four additional years of relevant industry experience. A minimum of one year of relevant construction experience. Duties Establishes and maintains the project's procurement tracking from start to finish. Builds the drawing register from the issued-for-construction set and keeps it current as revisions are released, ensuring the Superintendent always has the latest plans, specifications, supplemental information, and submittals in hand. Keeps the field photo record up to date and well organized throughout the build. Coordinates aerial/drone documentation and files the outputs in the project's aerial-imagery platform for use in deliverables. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software. Assist in preparing accurate construction estimates utilizing heavyBid and other estimating tools to support project budgeting and planning. Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals with precision using Bluebeam and ProCore. Coordinate procurement processes and track material deliveries to maintain project timelines. Monitor progress through regular site inspections, update schedules accordingly, and communicate status reports to all relevant parties. Support contract administration by reviewing terms, managing amendments, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Facilitate effective communication across teams through proactive project management and time management strategies. Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial construction projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and Primavera P3 or similar tools for detailed planning. Hands-on experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent platforms. Familiarity with construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for document control and collaboration. Solid knowledge of contracts administration, change management, and project documentation processes. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively while maintaining strict time management discipline. Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving on busy construction sites. Relevant educational background in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred; certifications such as OSHA or PMP are a plus.
