This is a delivery + team-lead role: you'll run site/civil projects through planning, design, and permitting while mentoring staff and partnering with leadership on client success. You'll support a diverse portfolio across sectors such as commercial, mixed-use, retail, office, education, healthcare, and industrial/distribution. What you'll lead Manage site/civil land development projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction document production Own day-to-day client coordination and help maintain strong client relationships Oversee technical design elements including site layout, grading, drainage/stormwater, utilities/infrastructure, and erosion & sediment control Drive project controls: scope, budgets, schedules, staffing , and keep projects financially on track Prepare/review technical deliverables and written documents (feasibility studies, stormwater reports, specifications, utility reports) Provide technical depth in H&H (hydrology/hydraulics), stormwater management, SWPPP , and water quality compliance Mentor engineers and support team development; coordinate across multiple disciplines Contribute to growth efforts through strong delivery, client engagement, and proposal support What they're looking for BS in Civil Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) license 6+ years site/civil land development experience Knowledge of local land use processes and permitting frameworks (city/county/state) Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while controlling budgets/write-offs Strong communication skills (client-facing) and experience mentoring/leading staff Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (Civil 3D preferred) Strong writing skills for proposals and technical reports Valid driver's license and ability to attend meetings/site visits as needed What's offered (high level) Competitive compensation and a strong benefits package that typically includes health coverage, retirement plan with match, paid time off/holidays, parental leave, professional development/education support, and bonus opportunities.
