Structural Project Engineer -
As demand for digital infrastructure accelerates, the firm is expanding its Mission Critical group to support the design of high‑performance facilities including data centers.

Position SummaryThe Structural Project Engineer will contribute to the design and documentation of complex medium- to large-scale Mission Critical building structures. This role includes technical leadership, coordination with project managers and senior leadership, design oversight, and opportunities for client interaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnicalPerform work under the direction of the licensed professional engineer of recordManage other design professionals as assignedConduct structural analysis and designDevelop structural detailing with guidance from senior engineersOversee technical quality for assigned tasks and projectsAssist in selecting materials and structural systemsCoordinate structural design with other disciplinesProduce documentation and calculations on schedule and within budgetSupport construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits, reports)Conduct peer reviews and contribute to internal process improvementsManage multiple Mission Critical projects simultaneouslySupervisoryAssist in developing work plans and budgetsHelp manage team workloadsSupport and lead design working sessionsProvide direction to junior team membersContribute to performance feedback and staff developmentClient LiaisonAttend client and consultant meetingsDocument meeting outcomes and action itemsBusiness DevelopmentBuild relationships with external partnersAttend relevant industry and networking eventsSupport proposal and interview efforts for Mission Critical pursuitsQualificationsEducationBS in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis required)MS in Structural Engineering preferredMinimum of 4 years of structural engineering experienceEIT Required/ PE PreferredSE license preferredSkillsStrong knowledge of building codesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsCollaborative mindset with strong problem‑solving abilityWhy Join This Firm?
