Senior Structural Engineer•Dallas Office Lead Dallas, TX Mission Critical | Leadership | Growth Opportunity A well‑established structural engineering firm with a legacy dating back to the 1960s is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead its expanding Dallas office . The firm is nationally recognized for technical excellence, long-term client partnerships, and a culture that empowers engineers to grow, lead, and innovate. The Dallas office focuses heavily on mission critical projects and is supported by a healthy, consistent pipeline of work in this sector. With a strategic plan to add 15 new engineers by 2027 , this role offers the chance to shape a growing team and influence the future of the office. Role Responsibilities Lead and grow the Dallas structural engineering team, setting standards for quality and delivery. Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and career support. Oversee and contribute to structural design and analysis for mission critical facilities. Review engineering work to ensure accuracy, innovation, and alignment with firm standards. Maintain and strengthen client relationships as a trusted technical partner. Participate in business development, including client meetings, presentations, and strategic pursuits. Manage projects from concept through completion, balancing technical, financial, and schedule demands. Prepare and lead proposal efforts to secure new work and expand the office's presence in the market. Candidate Profile Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); Structural Engineer (SE) preferred. 10+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally with mission critical or complex building projects. Demonstrated leadership experience-team management, mentorship, or office/department oversight. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues. A growth mindset and enthusiasm for helping expand a high-performing office.
