Weaver Consultants Group prides itself on our people - A talented group of engineers, scientists, geologists, surveyors and administrative staff who are as dedicated to client service as they are to their professional or technical discipline. As an engineer with Weaver Consultants Group, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplined team with opportunities to substantively contribute to a broad variety of projects. We are seeking independent and highly self-motivated engineers to join our team!
The Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program. EIT certification or have the ability to obtain certification within 1 year.

Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines. Ability to apply technical skills to meeting project demands and solve problems for our clients. Ability to read and interpret local, state, and federal regulations. Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Ability to balance workloads and schedules for multiple projects concurrently. Works well as an independent but accountable team member. Ability to recognize opportunities to develop new projects. Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client service-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred.
The Responsibilities:
Support multiple project managers in a wide variety of projects, Development of detailed computer models to evaluate engineering performance such as slope stability; geotechnical settlement; regional hydrology; stream hydraulics; leachate generation; contaminant fate and transport; traffic flow and patterns. Preparation of permit applications, permit modifications, technical reports, and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies. Permitting and civil site design for Transfer Stations, Material Recycling Facilities, and Gas-To-Energy Plants. Construction observation and documentation (field work, generally local, but some travel and overnight stays including weekends may be required). Analyzing technical data and preparing technical reports. Cost estimating for construction and life of site planning.
