Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Structural Analyst for a contract opportunity in Greenville, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 18 years of aircraft structural analysis.
  • Experience in the area of modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft is beneficial.
  • Classical Stress Analysis
  • Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and
  • PATRAN
  • Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs
  • Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification Microsoft Word and Excel
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques.
  • Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and stress support to Liaison for modification of primary aircraft structure and interior items.
  • Stress Analysis of Primary and Secondary Aircraft Structure
  • Stress Support for New Design
  • Stress Support to Liaison Engineering Preparation of Stress Analysis Reports
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Military Aircraft Certification Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Accredited B.
S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
WORK HOURS
  • Full-Time
  • 9/80 work schedule
  • 8AM-5PM CST
