Job Title Project Engineer I (multiple openings) Job Requisition 22232.73.2 Salary $127,605 per year Job Location Rosharon, Texas Job Duties The Project Engineer I will be responsible for developing conventional and improved engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects, preparing and checking engineering methods, drawings, calculations and/or other documents related to business projects, leading, supervising and supporting a project team to ensure a safe and efficient technical execution of the project in line with internal and external guidelines, risk assessments and/or other relevant documents to ensure a safe and efficient execution.
  • Using your expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
  • Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
  • Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements
  • Developing drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents Position requires travel.
May work at unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Requirements Must have a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in civil, mechanical, construction, industrial engineering or a related engineering discipline and 4 years of relevant industry experience as an engineer or similar role supporting heavy lifting and transportation equipment across various sectors, including construction, renewable energy, civil infrastructure, nuclear and other power generation facilities, oil and gas, and offshore operations. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
  • -Grasp of project management principles including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation. Skilled in defining scope, setting milestones, allocating resources, and managing timelines. Ensures effective stakeholder communication and maintains high standards of quality and safety throughout project delivery.
  • -Familiar with global engineering standards and regional safety regulations. Skilled in navigating project requirements and ensuring compliance in design, fabrication, and testing across international operations.
  • -Advanced understanding of heavy and specialized equipment including cranes, trailers, jacking systems, hydraulic gantries, lattice frame towers and rigging gear. Ensures equipment compatibility with engineering plans and safety protocols.
  • -Proficient in CAD and simulation tools, experience with document control and in software platforms for cranes and trailers.
  • -Skilled in planning, scheduling, and budgeting using tools like the Engineering Steering Tool.
