Job Description

The Project Engineer is responsible to help facilitate project delivery and administrative requirements related to planning, management and communication through effective day-to-day administration and coordination of projects. Works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project team members, including clients, in support of the success of a project.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks that have potential to generate future sales opportunities. + Create and maintain the internal and external project logs as necessary. + Maintain internal and external reports as necessary + Assist the Project Manager(s) with updating project tasks in software systems in conjunction with processing Requests for Information, Submittals, Drawing Logs, and other management tools. + Ensure the proper bid documents are sent to bidders for various bid packages as they come online. Build and maintain the bidders list. + Maintain current construction documents. + Receive and act accordingly on RFI's from contractors + Review and process submittals; maintain submittal log. + Support the management of the day-to-day project including but not limited to; responding to pay requests, change orders, RFI's, submittals, contracts, purchase orders and closeout.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering + 0-2 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site experience in the management of new construction and the renovation of existing assets + Basic MEP knowledge + Proficient in MS Office + Valid Driver's License Required +

Environment:
Work is performed primarily in an outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment; to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing:
