Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing a wide range of infrastructure projects, including water treatment systems, transportation networks, and land development initiatives. Your expertise will drive project success from conception through completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape communities and enhance public infrastructure. Duties Develop detailed project designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software to create schematics, system designs, and construction drawings. Perform geotechnical engineering assessments and utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools such as ArcGIS and HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Centers) software to analyze terrain, water flow, and environmental impact. Prepare accurate construction estimates by applying construction management principles and construction estimating techniques. Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects while managing multiple priorities effectively. Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, safety compliance, and progress monitoring through construction inspection practices. Conduct land surveying using modern equipment to gather precise data for design integration and project planning. Draft technical reports and documentation with clarity using technical writing skills to communicate project scope, progress, and findings effectively. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and CAD drafting tools for detailed design work. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including project scheduling and system design. Experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or similar tools for spatial analysis. Familiarity with construction management practices including construction inspection and estimating techniques. Ability to utilize hydraulic modeling software like SWMM or HEC-HMS for water flow analysis; knowledge of wastewater treatment systems is a plus. Skilled in geotechnical engineering principles, land surveying techniques, and hydraulics calculations. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $86,252.61 per year
