Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This individual will play a key role in managing construction activities, administering contracts, and ensuring project delivery aligns with technical, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment systems, infrastructure, and conveyance facilities Experience with construction management principles, including scheduling, cost control, and contract administration Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and project planning Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings and specifications Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and provide actionable solutions
Responsibilities Include:
Manage capital construction projects for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance systems from design through closeout Oversee contract administration, including scope development, procurement coordination, change orders, and compliance Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure technical accuracy and constructability Develop and maintain CPM-based project schedules, ensuring alignment with critical milestones and deadlines Provide technical problem-solving and engineering guidance for complex construction challenges
Compensation:
$125,000 to $175,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
