MATTAPONI, Virginia job type: Contract salary: $48 - 62 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
Structural Analysis:
Conducted stress analysis on metallic and composite structures using classical methods and Finite Element Modeling (FEM) to verify structural integrity and margins of safety.
Design & Integration:
Developed structural design criteria and provided mechanical recommendations to support modifications, systems integration, weapons development, and OEM reverse engineering.
MRB & Validation:
Supported Material Review Board (MRB) activities and generated FEMs to simulate mechanical behavior and validate design concepts.
Technical Leadership & Reviews:
Maintained active roles in TIMs, PDRs, and CDRs, presenting technical data to internal leadership and external customers.
Collaboration:
Partnered with cross-functional engineering disciplines, management, and clients across development, testing, and production phases.
Documentation & Compliance:
Reviewed and authored technical drawings, reports, and repair procedures to ensure accuracy and conformity to industry standards. #randstadengineering qualifications: Experience level: Experienced Minimum 4 years of experience
