In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions to help our clients manage their water resources effectively and efficiently. Here's what you'll be doing: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic studies, including the analysis of data and preparation of reports Develop and implement water resource management plans, floodplain management plans, and stormwater management plans Design and oversee the construction of water management infrastructure projects, including stormwater management systems, floodplain mapping, and floodplain modeling Perform quality control and quality assurance checks on project deliverables Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, clients, and stakeholders Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to water management Prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and proposals Bachelor's degreeor higherin Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering. 10+ years ofintensivedesign experience.
Project managementand team leadingexperienceisa bonus. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software. Expertise inGeographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing techniques. Knowledge of climate changeimpactswater resources. Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles and methodologies. Experience with computer modeling and simulation software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, PCSWMM, XPSWMM, and/orInfoWorksICM and ArcGIS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. Analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
