Surry, VA Job Details Full-time | Contract $60 - $64 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Bachelor of Science Analysis skills Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Full Job Description Candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing Design Changes, calculations, and technical evaluations in support of large capital projects as part of Subsequent License Renewal. Candidate will work extensively with Engineers of Choice and manufacturers to ensure designs satisfy technical specifications and station design/license basis. Projects include, but are not limited to - 96" circulating water intake piping replacement, 4160V Cable Replacement, Fuel Handling Cranes Replacement, Containment cooling coil replacement, and R22 Elimination B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Engineering Mechanics Commercial nuclear power plants within the last 3 years Architect/Engineer companies such as Sargent & Lundy, Enercon, Zachry, and similar o Strong analytical capability in steel and concrete design o Proficient in the nuclear Standard Design Process and license/design basis assessment per 10CFR50.59 o Construction and implementation experience As an employee with ASAP, you will be working through an established and well-respected organization that goes above and beyond for our Clients and Talent.
