This is a behind the scenes role that bridges the gap between sales, pre-construction, and field execution, ensuring that our projects are delivered with precision and profitability. The PE must have an aptitude for systems management, operating software, data tracking, and is responsible for continual improvement of these systems. Duties Collaborate with Sales team, PMs, Site Leads, and General Manager to support efficient and profitable remodel and new construction projects. Act as bridge or single point of contact between Admin and Project Management Document control and version history of project related documents Work with office team to ensure smooth running daily operations Take Production Team notes, track action items and follow through Qualifications Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver that thrives in a support role and is comfortable working in an open office setting.

Experience:

Three or more years in construction, with an interest in estimating and/or project management. Strong preference for some experience in high end residential construction.

Communication Skills:

Must be comfortable talking to and fielding questions from clients, designers, and trade contractors. Additionally, must have strong written communications skills.

Self-Management Skills:

Must be able to work independently, develop and manage a workplan, be flexible, and meet deadlines and commitments.

Information Management:

Operate and improve upon the system for managing project management documents, including building plans, specifications, purchase orders, time budgets, project budgets and change orders. Aptitude for operating software and designing management systems.

Software:

The Project Engineer should have a strong working knowledge of the following programs, in order of importance: Gmail and Google Calendar, Microsoft Excel, CoConstruct or other Project Management Software, Bluebeam and/or other take-off/estimating software, PDF management software (Adobe Acrobat, PlanGrid, etc.), Microsoft Word, Dropbox and Todoist. Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
