CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

Nussbaum Group is searching for a Construction Project Engineer to support the management and implementation of exceptional landscapes for high-end residential projects and are seeking candidates that demonstrate a knowledge of construction and the ability to assess solutions to landscape construction challenges. This role assists in accurate budget creation and all aspects of project management in-office to address all aspects of our work. Responsibilities:

Assists the Construction Project Manager (CPM) in preparing landscape budgets for projects. Assists in the preparation of change orders for construction projects. Proactively communicates with CPMs to ensure that the projects are running smoothly. Participates in horticulture, equipment and safety training and exemplifies standards. Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring quality of product and accurate pricing.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of professional landscape construction project management experience or related building and/or field experience. Certificate, associate or bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, Construction Management, Entrepreneurship, or related field. 2+ years (Entry Level) of client service experience within landscape, nursery retail/ wholesale, or a similar high-end customer service industry. Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel. Ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A passion to learn, attention to details and a desire to provide quality service and results. Valid, current WA driver's license

Pay range:

$65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience
