Position Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing engineering projects from concept to completion. This position is ideal for a professional with 3+ years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and plays a key role in supporting project delivery and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and timeline objectives. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Prepare detailed project plans, reports, and technical documentation. Identify and mitigate risks through proactive problem-solving and decision-making. Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other external partners. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project engineering, construction management, or a related role. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar). Strong knowledge of Washington State construction codes and safety regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is a plus. Experience with green building practices and sustainability-focused projects.
